Mural
I had already thought about doing a mural in my home, but while renting, it's always complicated ! And even when I got my own place, the walls covering made it difficult to achieve.
So when a friend of mine offered me to do one at her place, after a bit of thinking, I happily accepted.
I knew this job would be a challenge, but I'm happy I was able to do it. It was long but a so satisfying job to do, that I hope to do more of those soon !

The project - the réalisation
The goal of this project was to bring nature into the living room.
During discussions to find the right balance between budget and aesthetics, it was decided to paint two birds found in the region: a great spotted woodpecker and a kingfisher, along with some willow and ginkgo branches. The plants being very present in this small new house, in a green setting, the harmony is perfect.
As the mural measures approximately 10m² and is over 3m high, a bridge was required. This mural took approximately 65 hours to complete, including the project study.
These paintings were created in acrylics on a smoothed wall, already prepared for painting.
